Receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the First Time
First Holy Communion is a sacred milestone in a child’s faith journey. At St. Mary of the Angels, preparation includes two years of religious education through our Family of Faith Program or Catholic school formation. Sacramental preparation includes parent and child sessions, focusing on understanding the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The ceremony takes place on the last Saturday of April, where families celebrate together. Parents must provide a Baptism certificate and complete the First Communion Registration Form.
