  3. ✝️ Let Each Day of Holy Week Speak to You

As we enter the most sacred week of the Church year, St. Mary of the Angels Church invites every family to walk with Christ through the beauty, sorrow, and glory of Holy Week. From Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, each day offers a unique invitation to reflect, pray, and open our hearts to the mystery of salvation.

🌿 Palm Sunday – Hosanna in the Highest!

We welcome Jesus as King—humble and riding on a donkey. Palm Sunday reminds us that true greatness lies in humility and surrender. As we wave palms, we recognize Him as the Lord of our lives.

🕊️ Holy Monday to Wednesday – Prepare the Way

These quiet, powerful days call us to examine our hearts, turn away from sin, and draw closer to God. It’s a time to enter into prayer and anticipate the sacred moments ahead.

🍷 Holy Thursday – Eucharistic Love and Service

No morning Mass
7:15 PM – Mass of the Lord’s Supper
The church remains open for adoration until 12:00 AM
Confessions: 10 AM–12 PM; 4–5:20 PM; 8:30 PM–12 AM

On this night, Jesus gave us the Eucharist and the command to serve one another. Stay with Him in the Garden—come for Mass and remain in silent adoration as we remember His agony and love.

🌑 Good Friday – At the Foot of the Cross

Church opens at 8:30 AM for private prayer
5:00 PM – Stations of the Cross
Confessions: 12–3 PM; 4–5 PM

We walk with Jesus to Calvary. The Cross stands as the ultimate symbol of God’s love for us. Let us keep silence, reverence, and gratitude in our hearts on this most solemn day.

🔥 Holy Saturday – Wait in Hope

Church opens at 8:30 AM for private prayer
2:00–3:00 PM – Blessing of Food
7:30 PM – Easter Vigil Mass
Confessions: 10 AM–4:30 PM

Holy Saturday invites us into the waiting and longing of the disciples. We prepare our hearts in stillness, and then rejoice in the light of the Resurrection at the Easter Vigil—our most beautiful liturgy of the year.

🌅 Easter Sunday – He Is Risen!

Masses at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 12:00 PM
No evening Mass
Confessions: 20 minutes before each Mass

Alleluia! Christ is risen—triumphant over sin and death. Let joy fill your home and heart as we celebrate the new life He offers. This is the heart of our faith—life everlasting in Him.

Holy Week is more than a tradition—it’s a journey of transformation. Join us at SMA as we walk together through these sacred days. Let every moment lead you closer to the heart of Christ.
